Not one person stopped to truly help or offer assistance; instead, some just wanted my number. But then there was Nick. Despite just getting off work and having his precious little boy with him, he came back with the tools I needed to safely get my car out of the road and fix it. It only took about three minutes – the pin holding my linkage to the transmission had come off. I was able to secure it enough to get home safely, and he even made sure to give me his number just in case I didn't make it and needed to call him.
